View the Gantt chart legend

Use the legend popover to understand the colours, icons and markers shown on the Gantt chart.

Audience

This guide is designed for project manager.

Steps​

Step 1: Open the Gantt chart view​

Navigate to the programme view that shows the Gantt chart for your project so you can access the legend.

Step 2: Open the legend popover​

Select the Legend button with the info icon near the Gantt chart to open the compact legend popover.

Step 3: Review task status colours and icons​

In the legend, review each task status entry to see how colours and icons represent overdue, in progress, not started and other states on the chart.

Step 4: Check marker meanings​

Scroll within the legend to see how lines, ticks and connectors are used as markers for today, dependencies and baselines on the Gantt chart.

Step 5: Close the legend​

Click outside the popover or use its close control to hide the legend and continue working on the Gantt chart.
