Review task status in the Gantt chart

Use the compact Gantt task bar to see task details, identify overdue work, and check on-track activities without taking up excessive screen space.

Steps

Step 1: Open the programme Gantt view

Navigate to the programme Gantt chart so that all scheduled tasks are displayed in compact, field-ready rows.

Step 2: Identify a task and read its label

Locate a task bar and hover over or focus on it to see the full task name in the tooltip, even if the text in the bar is truncated.

Step 3: Check task status and overdue warnings

Review each task bar for visible "Overdue" chips while knowing that on-track and not-started tasks remain chip-free, with their status available to assistive technologies only.

Step 4: Select a task from the Gantt chart

Click or activate a task bar, which is treated as a single focusable button, to select that task for further review or actions elsewhere in the application.
