Review the project Gantt chart
Use the interactive Gantt chart to review programme timelines, task groupings and dependencies for your project.
This guide is designed for project manager.
Steps
Step 1: Open the Gantt chart for your project
Navigate to the programme view for your chosen project to display the Gantt chart with all visible tasks on the timeline.

Step 2: Adjust the zoom level of the timeline
Use the toolbar zoom controls to switch between week, month, quarter or year views so you can see more detail or a broader programme overview.

Step 3: Jump to today on the timeline
Select the Today control in the toolbar to centre the chart around the current date and quickly see what is happening now.

Step 4: Group or ungroup tasks by phase
Toggle the phase grouping option to show tasks organised under coloured phase headers or as a single continuous task list.

Step 5: Expand or collapse phase sections
Use the controls on each phase header to collapse or expand phases so you can focus on specific parts of the programme.

Step 6: Show or hide task dependencies
Turn dependency arrows on or off to view or hide the relationships and sequencing between tasks on the chart.

Step 7: Inspect individual tasks on the chart
Hover over or select a task bar to view more detail about that task and highlight it within the timeline.

Step 8: Navigate through the timeline
Use the horizontal scroll area or navigation controls to move backwards and forwards through the programme dates.

Step 9: Export the Gantt view
Use the export option in the toolbar to download or share the current Gantt view for reporting or offline review.
