Use AI assistance when your programme is empty
Use the AI assist panel to generate an initial programme when there are no existing tasks, or fall back to manual planning if AI is unavailable.
This guide is designed for project manager.
Steps
Step 1: Open the Programme page for your project
Navigate to the Programme section of your project to view the current schedule for the selected project, such as "Riverside".

Step 2: Review the empty programme state and AI assist options
When there are no tasks in the Gantt view, review the empty-state panel, which explains that you can use AI assistance to generate an initial programme or start planning manually.

Step 3: Launch the AI assist task from the empty-state panel
Select the option to start AI assistance, which opens a dedicated AI task modal where the system prepares to generate a draft programme for your project.

Step 4: Complete the AI assist task and close the modal
Allow the AI task to run and complete in the modal, then close the modal once it confirms the task has finished so that your programme can be updated.

Step 5: Refresh the programme to load AI-generated tasks
Use the refresh action in the Programme page to pull in the new AI-generated tasks and update the Gantt view with the suggested schedule.

Step 6: Continue manually if AI assistance is unavailable
If AI assistance is not available or your quota is exhausted, follow the manual-only empty-state guidance to create and manage tasks yourself in the Programme without AI support.

Step 7: Clear filters when no tasks match your view
If filters hide all tasks, use the clear-filters option shown in the no-programme-state message to reset filters and reveal any existing tasks in the Gantt or List view.
