Use the collapsible legend to understand colours, icons and markers on the Gantt chart, including task statuses, dependencies and baselines.

Steps

Select the Legend button near the Gantt chart to open the on-demand legend panel, which is hidden until you need it.

In the opened legend, review each labelled entry to understand what the different bar colours and icons mean for task statuses.

Review task status meanings

Use the legend entries for Phase summary, Today, Baseline finish and Dependency to interpret non-status markers on the chart.
