Manage programme tasks in list view
Review, sort and manage programme tasks in a tabular list view, including selecting, editing, deleting and updating task dependencies.
This guide is designed for project manager.
Steps
Step 1: Open the programme task list view
Navigate to the programme section of your project and switch to the task list view to see all relevant tasks displayed in a table.

Step 2: Filter tasks by status, priority or search
Use the available filters to narrow the list by task status, priority or by typing a keyword to match the task name or description.

Step 3: Group tasks by phase and expand or collapse phases
View tasks grouped by phase, using the phase headers to expand or collapse each phase so you can focus on specific parts of the programme.

Step 4: Sort tasks by key fields
Click on the column headers such as start date, end date, priority, status, completion or phase to change the sort order and toggle between ascending and descending.

Step 5: Select individual tasks
Tick the checkbox next to one or more tasks to select them for bulk actions or to focus on specific work items.

Step 6: Select or deselect all visible tasks
Use the checkbox in the table header to select all currently visible tasks or to clear all selections at once.

Step 7: View task details
Click on a task row or the view icon to see key details such as status, priority, dates, completion, float and phase for that task.

Step 8: Edit an individual task
Use the edit icon on a task row to open the task for editing, then adjust details such as name, description, dates, status or priority as required.

Step 9: Manage task dependencies
Open the dependency selector from the task row, choose predecessor or successor tasks from the list, and save to update the task’s dependencies.

Step 10: Delete a single task
Click the delete icon on a task row and confirm the deletion to remove that task from the programme.

Step 11: Bulk delete selected tasks
After selecting multiple tasks, use the bulk delete option to remove them all at once, confirming the action when prompted.
