View programme task details
Review the full details of a programme task, including status, timing, phase and favourites, from the task details panel.
This guide is designed for project manager.
Steps
Step 1: Open the task details panel
In the programme view, select a task to open its details panel. The panel appears with the task name at the top and a brief description underneath if one has been added.

Step 2: Review task status, timing and float
Check the task status colour, start and end dates, and any float information shown in the panel. Use this to understand how the task fits into the overall programme timeline.

Step 3: Check phase and slip information
Look at the phase label and colour to see which phase the task belongs to. If the task has slipped, review the adjusted dates and slip days to understand any delay.

Step 4: Mark the task as complete
If you have finished the task, select the option to mark it as complete. The status updates to show that the task is completed.

Step 5: Edit or delete the task
Use the edit control to update the task’s details, or the delete control to remove the task from the programme if it is no longer needed.

Step 6: Mark the task as a favourite
Click the favourite button in the header to add or remove the task from your favourites so that you can find it quickly later.

Step 7: Close the task details panel
When you have finished reviewing the information, select the close icon in the top-right corner to hide the details panel and return to the main programme view.
