Manage programme tasks in the Gantt and list views

View, filter, create, update, complete, import and export programme tasks for a project using either a Gantt chart or task list.

Steps

Step 1: Open the Programme page for your project

From your project workspace, navigate to the Programme section to see the timeline and tasks for the selected project.

Step 2: Switch between Gantt and list views

Use the view toggle controls (for example, Gantt and List buttons with chart and eye icons) to change how tasks are displayed so you can focus on timelines or a detailed table.

Step 3: Apply task filters

Use the filters panel to search by task name, select status and priority, and optionally show only critical path or slipped tasks; the visible tasks in the Gantt chart or list update immediately.

Step 4: Review task statistics

Open the statistics or metrics area (for example, via a Bar chart icon) to see aggregated information about your programme, such as counts by status or criticality.

Step 5: Create a new programme task

Select the Add or Plus button to open the Create Task dialog, enter the task details such as name, dates, status and priority, then confirm to add the task to the programme.

Step 6: View and edit task details

Select a task in the Gantt chart or list to open the details panel; use the Edit option to open the Edit Task dialog, adjust the fields you need, and save your changes so they are reflected across the view.

Step 7: Mark a task as complete

Choose a task you have finished and open the Complete Task dialog (for example, via a Complete or status action), review the confirmation, and mark it as completed so its status updates in real time.

Step 8: Import programme tasks

Use the Import button or Upload icon to open the Import Tasks dialog, follow the instructions to upload your file, and confirm the import so the new tasks appear in the programme.

Step 9: Export programme tasks

Use the Export button or Download icon to open the Export Tasks dialog, choose your preferred export format and options, and download the file containing your current programme tasks.

Step 10: Monitor real-time updates from your team

While on the Programme page, watch for automatic updates to tasks created, edited, completed or deleted by other users in the project, and note any toast notifications confirming those changes.

Step 11: Refresh and monitor real-time updates

Use the refresh option if available to manually reload the latest programme data. Real-time updates from other users are applied automatically via the live connection indicator on the page.
