Open a specific programme activity from a linked item

Use a deep link from a linked item to open the programme page focused on a specific activity, even if the original item is no longer available.

Steps​

Step 1: Open the programme from a linked item​

Select the Programme link or chip from a linked item (for example, a risk, issue, or task) to open the programme view for that project in a new tab or the same window.

Step 2: Load the programme focused on the selected activity​

The programme page loads for the current project and automatically scrolls or focuses the Gantt chart on the activity you opened from the linked item.

Step 3: Continue working in the programme if the activity is still available​

If the activity still exists, you can review its dates, dependencies, and progress in context with the rest of the Gantt chart and make any required updates.

Step 4: Understand what happens if the activity has been removed​

If the activity is no longer available, a toaster message informs you that "This item is no longer available." and the programme view automatically returns to the full, unfiltered Gantt chart.
