Use global search to find anything in your project
Use the global search modal to quickly find documents, tasks, people, meetings, RFIs and other records across your projects, then jump straight to the right page.
This guide is designed for project manager.
Steps
Step 1: Open the global search modal
Press the keyboard shortcut or click the search icon in the header to open the global search modal, which appears centred on your screen.

Step 2: Enter your search query
Start typing in the search box; matching documents, tasks, projects, people and other items begin appearing below in real time as you type.

Step 3: Limit results to specific types
Use the filter controls to include or exclude result types such as Documents, Tasks, People, RFIs, Meetings or Form Submissions so the list only shows what you need.

Step 4: Adjust search scope
Switch the scope to search within the current project or across all projects, depending on whether you are looking for something specific to one project or organisation-wide.

Step 5: Review result details
Scan each result card to see its type, title, key details, and highlighted text snippets showing where your search terms were found.

Step 6: Open a result
Click a result card to navigate directly to the relevant page, such as a document view, task details, project dashboard or stakeholder list.

Step 7: Close the search modal
When you are finished, close the modal by pressing Escape, clicking the close icon, or clicking outside the modal.
