Monitor PlanOps connection status

Stay informed about PlanOps connection issues, see when the app reconnects, and trigger an immediate retry.

Audience

This guide is designed for project manager.

Steps

Step 1: Notice when PlanOps is reconnecting

When the backend becomes unavailable while you are signed in, a banner appears at the top of the app showing "Reconnecting to PlanOps" so you know there is a temporary connection issue.

Step 2: Avoid duplicate reconnecting messages

Even if the connection drops multiple times in quick succession, you will only ever see a single reconnecting banner, keeping the interface clear and easy to understand.

Step 3: Retry the connection immediately

Use the "Retry now" button on the reconnecting banner to ask PlanOps to try reconnecting to the backend straight away, instead of waiting for an automatic retry.

Retry the connection immediately

Step 4: See confirmation when PlanOps is connected again

Once the backend becomes available, the reconnecting banner is replaced with a confirmation message that "PlanOps is connected again" so you know it is safe to continue working.
