Use global search to find project information
Use the global search modal to quickly find documents, tasks, RFIs, people, packages and other project items, then open them directly.
This guide is designed for project manager.
Steps
Step 1: Open the global search modal
Select the search icon in the header or press the keyboard shortcut to open the global search modal over your current page.

Step 2: Enter a search term
Type a keyword or phrase in the search box to search across documents, tasks, RFIs, people, programmes and other project records.

Step 3: Adjust the search scope
Use the scope control to switch between searching in the current project only or across all projects, depending on what you need to find.

Step 4: Filter results by type
Apply filters to limit results to specific item types, such as documents, tasks, workspace items, meetings or form submissions.

Step 5: Review highlighted results
Scan the results list, using the highlighted snippets and icons to understand the type of each item and why it matches your search.

Step 6: Open a result
Select a result row to navigate directly to the relevant page, such as a document, task detail, RFI, package or programme view.

Step 7: Refine or retry your search
If you do not see what you need, adjust your keywords, change filters or use the retry option to run the search again.
