Manage notifications from the header bell

Use the notification bell in the top bar to preview recent alerts, review unread items, and open the full notifications page.

Steps​

Step 1: Open the notifications preview from the header bell​

Hover your mouse over the bell icon in the top bar, or move keyboard focus to it, to open the notifications preview panel without leaving your current page.

Step 2: Review recent notifications and unread badge​

Look at the badge on the bell to see how many unread notifications you have, then scan the list in the preview to see the most recent activity and any items that still need your attention.

Step 3: Mark notifications as read from the preview​

Select an individual notification in the preview to open its linked item and automatically mark it as read, or use the mark-all-as-read control to clear the unread count in one action.

Step 4: Clear notifications you no longer need​

Use the clear-all control in the preview to remove notifications you no longer need to track, helping you keep the list focused on current items.

Step 5: Open the full notifications page​

Click the bell icon to close the preview and navigate to the full notifications page, where you can review all notifications in more detail.

Step 6: Close the preview when you are finished​

Move your pointer away from the bell and preview panel or press Escape on your keyboard to close the preview and continue working on your current page.
