Understand the project ribbon during background refresh

Learn how the project ribbon behaves during background refresh so you can confidently navigate without losing sight of your current project.

Audience

This guide is designed for project manager.

Steps

Step 1: View your current project in the ribbon

When a project is already selected, its name remains visible in the ribbon even while the system refreshes data in the background, so you always know which project you are working on.

Step 2: Notice the subtle refresh indicator

While data is being refreshed, a small indicator appears beside the project selector in the ribbon to show that a background update is in progress without interrupting your work.
