Use the duplicate detection banner to quickly spot and review stakeholders that may have been added more than once, keeping your records clean and consistent.

Steps

Step 1: Notice the duplicate detection banner

When potential duplicates are found, a gold banner appears at the top of the stakeholder list, highlighting that some stakeholders may be duplicated based on their name, email, or phone number.

Step 2: Review the duplicate warning details

Read the message in the banner to understand that stakeholders with matching details (such as normalised names or contact information) have been grouped as possible duplicates that need attention.

Step 3: Open the duplicate review from the banner

Click the action button in the banner to open a detailed view of the stakeholders identified as potential duplicates so you can compare their information.

Step 4: Decide which stakeholders should be merged

In the duplicate review view, compare the grouped stakeholders and decide which records represent the same stakeholder and should be merged into a single, accurate entry.

Step 5: Trigger the merge process

Confirm your selection to trigger the merge action from the duplicate review, ensuring the system combines the chosen stakeholder records and reduces clutter in your stakeholder list.
