Review live permits in the permit feed sidebar

Use the permit feed sidebar to review live permits, see friendly empty states, and understand how permits are prioritised by urgency.

Audience

This guide is designed for project manager.

Steps​

Step 1: Open the permit feed sidebar​

Navigate to the TW dashboard and open the permit feed sidebar for your selected project to review live permits associated with that project.

Step 2: Wait for the permit feed to load​

When the sidebar first opens, a loading state is shown while the system retrieves the latest permit data; no empty-state message appears until loading is complete.

Step 3: View the empty state when there are no live permits​

If there are no live permits in the selected date range, the sidebar shows a friendly message confirming that there are currently no live permits in this range.

Step 4: Review associated permits to work​

When permits are available, use the "Associated permits to work" section to see all related permit-to-work items grouped together for the project.

Step 5: Understand how permits are ordered by urgency​

Within the associated permits to work group, review the permits ordered by severity so that action and urgent items appear first, followed by awaiting and then signed permits.
