Manage temporary works inspections

Review the inspection schedule and recorded inspections for a temporary works item, and capture new inspection records when required.

This guide is designed for project manager.

Steps

Step 1: Open the Inspections tab for a temporary works item

Navigate to the relevant temporary works workspace item and open the Inspections tab to view its current permit-to-load and inspection regime.

Step 2: Review the active permit-to-load status

Check the surfaced permit-to-load for the item, including whether a live permit is signed or pending signatures, as inspections depend on this permit being in place.

Step 3: Check the inspection schedule and next due date

Use the schedule summary to see which inspection triggers apply (such as pre-use or weekly) and when the next inspection is due.

Step 4: Review the list of recorded inspections

Scroll through the inspection record list to see past inspections, including their dates, trigger types, and results such as pass, pass with observations, or fail.

Step 5: Start capturing a new inspection record

Select the option to record a new inspection for the current permit-to-load, opening the inspection capture dialog.

Step 6: Confirm the inspection has been recorded

After saving, check that the new inspection appears in the record list and that the next-due date on the schedule has advanced where applicable.
