Monitor temporary works and print permits
Use the Temporary Works dashboard to monitor live status, review histories, and bulk-print temporary works permits for your project.
This guide is designed for project manager.
Steps
Step 1: Open the Temporary Works dashboard
Navigate to your project and open the Temporary Works dashboard to see the register of all temporary works items with their current status.

Step 2: Review status chips and priorities
Scan the red, amber, and green status chips on each row to quickly identify which temporary works items require attention based on inspections, design checks, and permit timing.

Step 3: Filter and inspect minor temporary works
Use the minor temporary works indicators and filters to distinguish smaller, low-risk items from major works and focus on the items most relevant to your review.

Step 4: Open inspection and permit history
From a row, open the history view to see the full inspection and permit timeline for that temporary works item, including recent activity and outstanding actions.

Step 5: Monitor live permit progress
Check the right-hand permit feed to track live sign-off progress, see which permits are pending, approved, or blocked, and confirm that works can proceed safely.

Step 6: Select items for bulk permit printing
Switch to selection mode, choose multiple temporary works items, and review the list of selected permits in preparation for bulk printing.

Step 7: Bulk-print permit certificates
Use the bulk permit print dialog to generate and print permit certificates for all selected temporary works items in one action.

Step 8: Generate or preview the register document
Run the generate register action to create an up-to-date temporary works register document and preview it before sharing or exporting.

Step 9: Refresh the dashboard during stand-ups
Use the dashboard's automatic and manual refresh to keep the register and permit feed current during morning stand-ups and coordination meetings.
