View live permits in the TW dashboard sidebar

Quickly review and open live permit-to-work forms from the Permit Feed sidebar in your TW project dashboard.

Steps​

Step 1: Open the TW project dashboard​

Navigate to your TW project dashboard where the Permit Feed sidebar is displayed on the right-hand side of the screen.

Step 2: Check for loading or empty states​

When the sidebar first loads, a loading skeleton appears; if there are no current permits in the selected date range, you will see the friendly "No live permits in this range" message.

Step 3: Review the ordered list of live permits​

When permits are available, the sidebar lists them with items needing action first, followed by awaiting and signed permits, helping you focus on the most urgent work.

Step 4: Open a permit from the sidebar​

Click the title of any permit in the list to open its full form instance details in the main project view for further review or action.

Step 5: Adjust your view by changing the date range​

Use the date range controls (where available) to filter out older permits, so only permits within the selected period are shown in the sidebar.
