Share a permit signing link with operators
Use the Permit share dialog to copy, open, or email the public signing link so operators can sign the permit on their phones.
This guide is designed for project manager.
Steps
Step 1: Open the permit share dialog
In the permit view, select the option to share the permit; the Permit share dialog opens and shows the public wizard URL for that specific permit.

Step 2: Review the public wizard URL
Check the "Public wizard URL" field to confirm the link is present and corresponds to the correct permit and Temporary Works reference.

Step 3: Copy the signing link to your clipboard
Click the copy button to copy the operator link; a toast message confirms the link has been copied and you can paste it into chat tools such as SMS, WhatsApp, or Teams.

Step 4: Open the signing link in a new browser tab
Click the open-in-new-tab button to launch the public wizard URL in a separate tab, allowing you to quickly verify what operators will see.

Step 5: Send the signing link via email
Click the email button to open your default email client with the subject and body pre-filled, including the permit reference, Temporary Works reference, description, and the public signing link.

Step 6: Close the permit share dialog
When you have finished copying or sending the link, close the dialog to return to the permit details screen.
