This guide is designed for project manager.
Steps
Step 1: Open the Temporary Works item workspace
Navigate to the Temporary Works register, select the relevant item, and open its workspace to view item-specific details.

Step 2: Switch to the Permits tab
In the item workspace, select the Permits tab to see all load and strike permits associated with this temporary works item.

Step 3: Review permit list and statuses
Scroll through the permit list to review each permit's type, status, and sign-off progress, including whether it is draft, awaiting signatures, live, voided or expired.

Step 4: Check sign-off chain progress
For each permit, inspect the sign-off chain to see which roles, such as Designer, Independent checker, TWC or TWS, have signed and which signatures are still outstanding.

Step 5: Issue a load permit
When the temporary works item has reached the appropriate stage, use the "Issue" call-to-action on a load permit to open the issue dialog and complete issuing.

Step 6: Issue a strike permit when the item is in use
Once the temporary works item is marked as "In use", access the visible strike permit "Issue" call-to-action to initiate and complete issuing a strike permit.

Step 7: Refresh permit data
Use the refresh control to reload permit information from the register service so that statuses and sign-off progress are up to date.

Step 8: Share a permit with stakeholders
Open the permit share dialog from the actions menu to copy a link or share the selected permit with designers, checkers, site teams or external stakeholders.

Step 9: View permit details in a separate view
Use the external link action on a permit to open its detailed view in a separate page or tab for full review and record-keeping.
