Select an entity to link to an event
Use a searchable dropdown to find and select an existing item (such as a document, project, workspace item, or report) to link to the current event.
This guide is designed for project manager.
Steps
Step 1: Open the entity selector
Click on the entity dropdown field to open the searchable list of items you can link to this event.
Step 2: Review recent items
When the dropdown opens, review the recent or suggested entities that appear by default, including their titles and types.
Step 3: Search for a specific entity
Start typing in the search box to filter the list by title or reference; matching entities will appear as you type.
Step 4: Choose the correct entity
Click on the entity you want to link; the item will be marked as selected and its title or reference will appear in the field.
Step 5: Clear the current selection
If you need to remove the linked entity, click the clear (X) icon in the field to reset it to empty.
Step 6: Close the selector
Click outside the dropdown or press Escape to close the selector once you have finished choosing or clearing an entity.
