Manage project risks and incidents
View, create and manage project risks and incidents, including linking related records, adding impacts and visualising them on a risk matrix.
This guide is designed for project manager.
Steps
Step 1: Open the Events section for your project
Navigate to your project and open the Events section to see all recorded risks and incidents associated with the selected project.

Step 2: Filter between all events, risks or incidents
Use the view mode controls (such as All, Risks, Incidents) at the top of the Events section to switch between all events, only proactive risks, or only reactive incidents.

Step 3: Review events in list or grid views
Browse the EventList using the layout icons (grid and list) to adjust how events are displayed, and apply any available filters to narrow down the list.

Step 4: Create a new risk or incident
Select the add button to open the create Event dialog, choose the event nature (risk or incident) and type from the available options, then confirm to create the new event for the project.

Step 5: View event details
Click on an event in the list to open the Event Detail dialog, where you can review its full information, including status and any linked records.

Step 6: Link related records to an event
From the event detail or actions menu, choose the option to add a link, then use the Add Link dialog to associate the event with relevant items such as other events or project records.

Step 7: Add potential or actual impacts
Open the Add Impact dialog from an event’s actions, select whether you are capturing a potential or actual impact, enter the details and save to record the impact against the event.

Step 8: Materialise a risk into an incident
For a proactive risk that has occurred, open the Materialise dialog from its actions to convert it into a corresponding reactive incident while keeping the relationship between them.

Step 9: Visualise events on the risk matrix
Toggle the risk matrix display to show events positioned according to their likelihood and impact, helping you assess and compare the overall risk profile of the project.

Step 10: Delete an event
Use the delete action for an event to open the confirmation dialog, review the warning message, and confirm if you are sure you want to permanently remove the event from the project.
