Record actual event impacts
Use the materialise dialog to record when an event actually occurred and capture its real financial impacts.
This guide is designed for project manager.
Steps
Step 1: Open the materialise dialog for an event
From the event list or event details, select the option to materialise an event to open the Materialise dialog, which shows the selected event and a form for recording actual impacts.

Step 2: Set the event occurrence date
In the Occurred on field, confirm or adjust the default date (set to today) so it matches when the event actually took place.

Step 3: Add notes about what happened
In the Notes box, enter a concise description of what happened when the event occurred, including any relevant context or assumptions.

Step 4: Add an actual impact line
Select the Add impact button to create a new impact line with a default impact category, amount, description, and confidence level.

Step 5: Choose an impact category and describe the impact
For each impact line, select the appropriate impact category, then enter a clear description explaining what the impact represents.

Step 6: Enter the impact amount and confidence
In the Amount field, enter the actual financial value in the shown currency and choose the confidence level that best reflects how certain the amount is.

Step 7: Review total actual impact
Check the total actual impact displayed at the bottom of the dialog to understand the combined financial effect of all recorded impact lines.

Step 8: Remove any incorrect impact lines
Use the delete icon on an impact line to remove any entries that are no longer needed or were added by mistake.

Step 9: Submit the materialised impacts
When all details are correct, select the Materialise or Save button to submit the form, wait for the loading indicator to finish, and confirm that the event is updated with its actual impacts.
