Review event risk matrix
View the risk matrix for an event to understand how different combinations of likelihood and impact translate into overall risk levels, and inspect any linked events.
This guide is designed for project manager.
Steps
Step 1: Open the risk matrix view
Navigate to the section of the event where the risk matrix is displayed; if data is still loading you will see a temporary placeholder until the matrix appears, or a message stating that no risk matrix data is available if none has been configured.

Step 2: Understand likelihood and impact bands
Review the matrix layout, noting that impact bands are listed along the top as column headings and likelihood bands are listed down the left-hand side, with the highest likelihood at the top so you can quickly locate the most critical combinations.

Step 3: Interpret cell colours and risk levels
Scan across the coloured grid cells to see how each combination of likelihood and impact is categorised, with lower-risk areas shown in green and progressively higher-risk areas represented with amber, orange and red backgrounds to highlight the most serious risks.

Step 4: Inspect a specific risk cell
Select a particular cell at the intersection of a likelihood and impact band to focus on that risk level; when you hover over or click the cell, any available tooltip or details for that risk combination are displayed so you can review the underlying information.

Step 5: Review events linked to a cell
From a selected cell, open any listed events to see their summaries and context, allowing you to understand which real-world events are contributing to that area of the matrix and assess whether further action is needed.
