Add a link to an event
Use this dialog to associate an existing workspace item or other entity with an event, using a specific relationship type.
This guide is designed for project manager.
Steps
Step 1: Open the Add link dialog from the event
From the event view, select the option to add a link (for example, an “Add link” button or menu item). The Add link dialog opens, showing fields for entity type, entity ID, optional reference, and relationship.

Step 2: Choose the type of entity you want to link
In the Entity type dropdown, select the kind of item you want to link to the event, such as a workspace item or other supported entity types shown in the list.

Step 3: Enter the entity ID and optional reference
In the Entity ID field, type the unique identifier of the entity you want to link. Optionally, fill in the Reference field with an additional note or reference string if your process requires it.

Step 4: Select the relationship between the entity and the event
In the Relationship dropdown, choose how this entity relates to the event (for example, “Related to” or any other relationship options available in the list).

Step 5: Submit the form to create the link
Review your selections, then select the Save or Add link button. The system validates the entity ID and, if successful, creates the link and updates the event’s linked items. If the entity ID is missing or invalid, an error message is shown so you can correct it and try again.
