Manage project risk events from the dashboard

Use the Event Dashboard to review event statistics, work with the risk matrix and manage individual events for your project.

This guide is designed for project manager.

Steps

Step 1: Open the Event Dashboard for your project

Navigate to your project and open the Event Dashboard to see an overview of events, statistics and the risk matrix related to your selected project.

Step 2: Review key event statistics

Use the statistics cards at the top of the dashboard to quickly understand the number of events, their status and overall impact for the current project.

Step 3: Analyse event exposure in the risk matrix

Review the risk matrix to see how events are distributed across likelihood and impact, then click any matrix cell to filter and focus on the events in that risk band.

Step 4: Create a new event from the dashboard

Open the create menu, choose the event nature and type, and complete the on-screen flow to add a new event to the project directly from the dashboard.

Step 5: Inspect event details and history

From the event list, select an individual event to open the detail dialog and review its full description, attributes and any related information.

Step 6: Edit an existing event

Use the edit option on an event in the list to open the edit dialog, adjust the event information as needed and save your changes back to the workspace.

Step 7: Materialise an event into a workspace item

Choose the materialise action on an event to open the materialise dialog, confirm the details and create a corresponding workspace item for delivery tracking.

Step 8: Delete an event that is no longer needed

Use the delete action on an event in the list to remove it from the project, confirming the deletion when prompted so the dashboard stays up to date.

Step 9: Refresh events, statistics and risk matrix

Click the refresh control to re-load all events, statistics and the risk matrix, ensuring you are working with the latest project data.
