Manage empty event lists and start recording events

Learn how to handle an empty event list by clearing filters or creating the first risk, opportunity, or incident record.

Steps

Step 1: Review why no events are shown

When the events list is empty, read the on-screen message to understand whether there are no matching events due to filters or no events have been created yet.

Step 2: Clear filters when no matching events are found

If the message says there are no matching events and a “Clear Filters” button is shown, select “Clear Filters” to remove all filters and reload the full list of events.

Step 3: Create the first risk or opportunity

If the message indicates there are no risks or opportunities, select “Add Risk” to start recording proactive risks or opportunities for your project.

Step 4: Report the first incident

If the message indicates there are no incidents reported, select “Report Incident” to create the first reactive incident record.

Step 5: Create a general event when no type is specified

If you see a message that there are no events yet, select “Create Event” to add your first event and start tracking project issues or activities.
