Link an entity using search
Use a searchable dropdown to find and link an existing item (such as a document, project or report) to your event or record.
This guide is designed for project manager.
Steps
Step 1: Open the entity search dropdown
Locate the entity search field in your event or record and select it to open the dropdown list of linkable items.

Step 2: View recent items
When the dropdown opens, review the list of recent or suggested items that are automatically displayed based on the selected entity type.

Step 3: Search for a specific entity
Start typing a name, reference, or title into the search box to filter the list; matching entities will be shown as you type.

Step 4: Select the entity to link
Choose the correct entity from the filtered results; the field will update to show your selection as the linked item.

Step 5: Clear or change the linked entity
If you need to remove or change the link, use the clear option in the field, then repeat the search and selection steps to pick a different entity.
