Filter register items with the compact filter bar

Use the compact filter bar to narrow register items by date, type, status and other catalogue-driven filters.

Steps

Step 1: Open the register with the filter bar

Navigate to the relevant register (Documents, Temporary Works, Plant or Risk) and confirm the compact filter bar is visible at the top of the preset or preview view.

Step 2: Choose a date range

Open the date range control, then pick a relative option such as Any time, Last 30 days, Last 90 days or This year to scope which items appear in the register.

Step 3: Filter by item type

If the Type control is shown, open it and select one or more item types to limit the register to only those kinds of items.

Step 4: Apply status or band filters

Use the status or band toggle chips to include or exclude items by their compliance status or band, watching the active chips highlight as you refine the list.

Step 5: Reveal more filters

Select "More filters" to open additional catalogue-driven axes, then tick or untick options to further narrow the register without cluttering the main bar.

Step 6: Review the filter summary

Check the sentence-like summary row of chips to see exactly which filters are applied and remove any individual filter by clearing its chip.

Step 7: Clear all filters

Use the Clear all option, if available, to reset the filter bar back to its default state and show the full register again.
