Filter register items with the compact filter bar
Use the compact filter bar to narrow register items by date, type, status and other catalogue-driven filters.
This guide is designed for project manager.
Steps
Step 1: Open the register with the filter bar
Navigate to the relevant register (Documents, Temporary Works, Plant or Risk) and confirm the compact filter bar is visible at the top of the preset or preview view.

Step 2: Choose a date range
Open the date range control, then pick a relative option such as Any time, Last 30 days, Last 90 days or This year to scope which items appear in the register.

Step 3: Filter by item type
If the Type control is shown, open it and select one or more item types to limit the register to only those kinds of items.

Step 4: Apply status or band filters
Use the status or band toggle chips to include or exclude items by their compliance status or band, watching the active chips highlight as you refine the list.

Step 5: Reveal more filters
Select "More filters" to open additional catalogue-driven axes, then tick or untick options to further narrow the register without cluttering the main bar.

Step 6: Review the filter summary
Check the sentence-like summary row of chips to see exactly which filters are applied and remove any individual filter by clearing its chip.

Step 7: Clear all filters
Use the Clear all option, if available, to reset the filter bar back to its default state and show the full register again.
