Manage project registers

Use the project-level registers panel to generate built-in registers and manage your saved custom registers in one place.

This guide is designed for project manager.

Steps​

Step 1: Open the project registers panel​

In your chosen project, scroll to the registers section to view the Project Registers panel, showing built-in registers and any existing custom registers.

Step 2: Generate a built-in register​

In the built-in registers area, select a card such as Risk, Incidents, Temporary works, Plant, or Documents to generate the corresponding register for this project and open it in the preview dialog.

Step 3: Review and filter the register preview​

In the register preview dialog, review the generated register, use the status or severity filters, and confirm it meets your needs before closing or exporting it.

Step 4: Create a new custom register​

Click the New register button to open the Register Builder, configure the layout and filters for your custom register, and save it so it appears in your saved registers list.

Step 5: Regenerate a saved custom register​

From the saved registers list, choose a saved register and use the regenerate action to refresh its contents with the latest project data and view the updated preview.

Step 6: Edit or delete a saved custom register​

For any saved register, use the edit option to adjust its definition in the builder, or use the delete option to remove it from the project when it is no longer required.

Step 7: Handle empty state for new projects​

When no registers have been saved yet, review the empty state guidance and use the New register action or a built-in register card to get started quickly.
