Filter a register using chips and presets

Use the register filter bar to narrow results by date range, status, type and stage, and manage applied filters with chips.

Steps​

Step 1: Open the register and locate the filter bar​

At the top of the register, find the filter bar showing options such as Date range, status chips (Overdue, Due soon, Up to date), type, and stage.

Step 2: Set a date range​

Use the Date range control to choose the period you want to review so that only register items within that range are shown.

Step 3: Filter by status using chips​

Select a status chip such as Overdue, Due soon or Up to date to include items with that status, and select it again to remove that status from the filter.

Step 4: Choose one or more types​

Open the type multi-select control and tick one or more item types, such as Drawing or RFI, so that only items of those types appear in the register.

Step 5: Filter by stage​

Use the stage options, such as On hire or Off hire, to restrict the register to items at the relevant stage.

Step 6: Review applied filter chips​

Check the applied filter chips summary to see which filters are currently active across status, type, stage and date range.

Step 7: Clear individual filters from chips​

Remove a specific filter by clearing its chip in the applied filter chips area so that axis is no longer used to filter the register.
