Configure register filters for preset generation
Use the compact filter bar to narrow down records by date, type, stage and status before generating or regenerating register presets.
This guide is designed for project manager.
Steps
Step 1: Open the register preset filter bar
Locate the compact filter bar at the top of the register preset dialog, showing date, type, stage and status filter controls with their current selections.

Step 2: Choose a relative date range
Select the date control with the calendar icon and pick a relative date range such as Any time, Last 30 days, Last 90 days or This year to define which records are in scope.

Step 3: Filter by item type
Open the Type dropdown (if available) and choose one or more item types from the list so that only matching records are included in the register.

Step 4: Refine by hire stage
Use the Hire stage control (if available) to select the relevant lifecycle stages, narrowing the register to records currently in those stages.

Step 5: Apply status or band filters
Click the status or band toggle chips to turn specific options on or off, visually highlighting the active filters that will shape the generated preset.

Step 6: Adjust catalogue-driven axes
When additional filter axes are shown, use their labels and options to toggle individual values on or off, further refining the records used for preset generation.

Step 7: Clear all active filters
Use the clear-all control with the X icon to reset every axis back to its default state so the full register scope is available again.
