Preview and export a register

Use the register preview dialog to review grouped register entries, adjust filters, and export the data as a PDF for printing or as a CSV file.

Steps

Step 1: Open the register preview

Open the register preview dialog from the relevant register screen to see a structured table of entries, grouped by priority and status.

Step 2: Review grouped register entries

Scroll through the grouped rows to review items ordered from highest to lowest concern, using the colour-coded chips and headings to understand risk or status at a glance.

Step 3: Apply or adjust filters

Use the compact filter bar to select filter options, regenerate the register view, and review the applied filter chips that summarise your current filter choices.

Step 4: Refresh the preview with updated filters

Select the regenerate action to request an updated register based on the chosen filters, then confirm that the table and summary reflect your latest criteria.

Step 5: Print or save a PDF copy

Select the print option to generate a consistent PDF view of the register, then use your browser or system print dialog to print or save the document as a PDF.

Step 6: Download the register as CSV

Select the CSV download option to export all visible register data as a CSV file that you can open in spreadsheet tools for further analysis or reporting.

Step 7: Clear or remove filters

Use the filter chips and controls to remove individual filters or reset presets so that the register view returns to an unfiltered or baseline state.

Step 8: Close the register preview

When you have finished reviewing or exporting the data, close the dialog to return to the main register or project view.
