Filter register items

Use the register filter bar to narrow down items by date range, status, type and stage so you can focus on the most relevant records.

Steps

Step 1: Open the register filter bar

Navigate to the register and locate the filter bar at the top, where you can see options for date range, status, type and stage.

Step 2: Set a date range

Use the "Date range" control to select the period you want to review, so that only items within those dates are shown.

Step 3: Filter by status

Click one or more status chips such as "Overdue", "Due soon" or "Up to date" to show only items matching those statuses.

Step 4: Remove a status filter

Click a pressed status chip again to clear it and immediately update the visible items.

Step 5: Choose item types

Open the "Type filter" control, tick one or more options such as "Drawing" or "RFI", and apply them to limit the register to those item types.

Step 6: Filter by stage

Use the stage options such as "On hire" and "Off hire" to focus on items at a particular stage in their lifecycle.

Step 7: Review applied filters

Check the applied filter chips that appear, confirming which date, status, type and stage filters are currently in use.

Step 8: Clear filters from applied chips

Remove a specific filter by clearing its applied chip, which immediately updates the register results.
