Add a document reference to your agent

Use the document reference dialog to search for existing project documents and attach the correct reference to your agent or workflow.

Steps

Step 1: Open the document reference dialog

From the agent or workflow you are configuring, select the option to add or change a document reference; the document reference dialog opens, showing a search input and a list area for results.

Step 2: Enter search keywords

In the search box at the top of the dialog, type one or more keywords from the document title, reference, or description to find relevant documents linked to your current project.

Click the search button or press Enter to start the search; the system queries project documents and displays matching results in a list, showing title, type, reference and status information.

Step 4: Review document details

Scan the results list and check each document’s title, document type, reference, revision and status so you can confirm you are selecting the correct file for your agent to use.

Step 5: Refresh results if needed

If new documents have been uploaded or updated, use the refresh option in the dialog to re-run the search and pull in the latest versions before making your selection.

Step 6: Select the correct document

Click on the document you want to reference; the dialog highlights your choice and prepares the full document reference so it can be attached to the agent or workflow.

Step 7: Confirm and apply the reference

Choose the confirm or apply option in the dialog to save your selection; the dialog closes and the chosen document reference is now linked to the agent, ready to be used for processing and search.
