Search and open agent tasks

Use the task search command palette to quickly find task definitions and recent task executions across agents, and open them for further action.

Audience

This guide is designed for project manager.

Steps

Step 1: Open the task search palette

Press the keyboard shortcut or click the search icon to open the task search command palette, which appears as an overlay on top of your current view.

Step 2: Filter tasks by status

Use the status filter dropdown in the command palette to limit results to completed, running, pending, or failed tasks so you can focus on the most relevant executions.

Step 3: Enter a search term

Type keywords into the search input to look up task definitions or recent executions by name, description, or other matching details.

Step 4: Review grouped search results

Browse the grouped results showing task definitions and recent executions, including their status icons and relative timestamps such as “Just now” or “2h ago”.

Step 5: Open a task definition

Select a task definition result to open it for the relevant agent, so you can configure or run the task as needed.

Step 6: Open a task execution

Select a task execution result to jump directly to that execution’s details for the associated agent, allowing you to review outcomes or troubleshoot issues.

Step 7: Close the task search palette

Dismiss the command palette by clicking the close icon or pressing the escape key when you are finished searching.
