Start an information production schedule from a template

Use an existing schedule template to quickly create a new information production schedule for your project.

Steps​

Step 1: Open the template picker​

Open the "Start from template" dialog from your project’s information production schedules area; the system loads available templates for this project.

Step 2: Review available templates​

Browse the list of schedule templates, checking the template names and any shown line counts to choose the most appropriate starting point for your new schedule.

Step 3: Apply the chosen template​

Select the template you want to use; the system creates a new information production schedule for this project based on that template and closes the dialog.

Step 4: Continue refining the new schedule​

After the schedule is created, open it from the register view to refine milestones, parties and other details as needed for your project.
