Schedule an automated task
Configure and activate a recurring schedule so an existing task runs automatically at your chosen frequency.
This guide is designed for project manager.
Steps
Step 1: Open the schedule wizard
Open the schedule wizard from the task or agent context; the panel opens with the task name and any known details prefilled.

Step 2: Choose how often the task should run
Use the schedule controls to select how frequently the task runs (for example hourly, daily, weekly or monthly) and adjust the exact timing.

Step 3: Review projected usage and cost
Check the projected monthly IU usage and estimated per-run IU cost to understand the impact of your chosen schedule.

Step 4: Review the task inputs
Review the captured task inputs in the read-only list; confirm that all parameters are correct for automated runs.

Step 5: Edit task inputs if needed
Use the edit option on any input to adjust values; updates are immediately reflected in the review list so you can verify the final configuration.

Step 6: Confirm and create the schedule
Select the option to complete the wizard; the system validates your configuration, creates the agent schedule and closes the wizard when successful.

Step 7: Edit an existing schedule (optional)
Reopen the wizard for an existing schedule to adjust its cadence or inputs; save your changes to update the current schedule instead of creating a new one.
