Manage your information production schedule

Use the Schedule page to view existing schedules, open the register, and create new schedules by importing or using templates.

This guide is designed for project manager.

Steps

Step 1: Open the Schedule page

From your project workspace, select "Schedule" in the sidebar to open the information production schedule page for your project.

Step 2: Review your current schedules

When the page loads, wait for the existing schedules to be fetched; if at least one exists, the active schedule opens in the register for you to review.

Step 3: Work with the schedule register

Use the schedule register to browse and update your information production schedule, and access actions such as importing a MIDP/EIR or generating collection pages.

Step 4: Import a schedule from MIDP/EIR

If you need to create or update a schedule from existing documentation, open the import wizard from the register and follow the guided steps to bring in data from a MIDP or EIR file.

Step 5: Start a schedule from a template

When no suitable schedule exists, choose the "Start from template" option to open the template dialog and create a new schedule using a predefined structure.

Step 6: Generate collection pages from your schedule

Use the "Generate pages" option from the register to open the collection page generator and create project pages based on the items in your schedule.

Step 7: Create a schedule when none exists

If your project has no schedule yet, use the "No schedule" screen to either import from MIDP/EIR or start from a template to create your first schedule.
