Browse and review project documents
Use the document grid to quickly scan, understand, and open key project documents based on type, status, and recent changes.
This guide is designed for project manager.
Steps
Step 1: Open the documents grid
Navigate to the Documents section of your project to see all available files displayed as individual cards in a grid layout.

Step 2: Identify documents by type and source
Use the coloured file tile and icon on each card to recognise the document type (for example PDF or spreadsheet) and its source (such as uploaded files, CDE, reports, or generated outputs).

Step 3: Review title, reference, and status
Read the document title and reference at the top of the card, and check the inline source and status badges to understand where it comes from and whether it is current, draft, or in another state.

Step 4: Scan summaries and tags
Look at the short summary snippet and visible tags on each card to quickly judge relevance; if there are more than three tags, use the "+N" indicator to see that additional tags are available.

Step 5: Check authorship and update details
Use the footer of the card to see who last updated the document, when it was updated, how many related references it has, and its revision information.

Step 6: Open a document for detailed review
Click anywhere on a document card to open that document in the detailed view and access the full content and related actions.

Step 7: Open the changes comparison view (where available)
Where a comparison chip or marker is shown on the card, use the comparison action to open a focused view of changes and differences between document revisions.

Step 8: Use visual states to manage focus
Rely on hover and selection highlights to see which card you are about to open and which document is currently active or selected in the grid.
