View drawing changes from the documents list
Use the Changes chip in the documents list to see which drawings have a ready comparison against the previous revision and open the diff directly.
This guide is designed for project manager.
Steps
Step 1: Find drawings with a Changes chip
In the unified documents list or grid, scan the rows for drawings that show a terracotta Changes chip next to their revision details; items without a comparison will not show any chip.
Step 2: Understand comparison status at a glance
Hover over the different comparison chips to see their meaning: the terracotta Changes chip indicates a completed comparison, the neutral Comparing… chip means the comparison is still running, and the amber Compare failed chip flags that the comparison could not be generated.
Step 3: Open the completed comparison
When a drawing shows the terracotta Changes chip, select it to open the comparison view against the previous revision in a new panel or page, without needing to open the drawing first from the list.
