View and navigate the programme Gantt chart

Use the Gantt chart to view project tasks over time, change the zoom level, and move quickly between different parts of the programme timeline.

This guide is designed for project manager.

Steps

Step 1: Open the programme Gantt chart

Navigate to the programme section for your selected project to display the Gantt chart showing all scheduled tasks on a timeline.

Step 2: Adjust the zoom level of the timeline

Use the zoom controls (week, month, quarter, year) in the Gantt toolbar to change how much time is visible and how detailed the task bars appear on the chart.

Step 3: Move backwards and forwards along the timeline

Click the left and right navigation buttons to scroll the visible date range so you can review earlier or later phases of the programme.

Step 4: Jump back to today’s date

Select the Today button in the toolbar to re-centre the chart around the current date, making it easier to focus on current activities.

Step 5: Inspect individual tasks on the chart

Hover over or click a task bar to focus on a specific activity; depending on your configuration, this may open more detailed task information or trigger related actions.
