Start an automation from a workflow template
Review a workflow template’s details and launch the configuration wizard to create an active automation for your project.
This guide is designed for project manager.
Steps
Step 1: Open a workflow template
From the automations area, select a workflow template to view its details, including name, description, IU cost, trigger type, and individual steps in the workflow.

Step 2: Review template details
Scroll through the template detail view to check triggers, scheduled timing, actions, and other configuration hints so you can confirm the template suits your project needs.

Step 3: Start using the template
Select the Use template button to open the workflow configuration wizard, where you can customise settings before activating the workflow.

Step 4: Configure and activate the workflow
Work through the configuration wizard to provide any required inputs; when you complete the wizard, the system creates an active workflow and redirects you to the active automations view.

Step 5: Cancel and return to the template
If you change your mind while in the configuration wizard, cancel the wizard to close it and return to the template detail view without creating an active workflow.

Step 6: Go back to the previous page
Use the Back control in the template detail view to return to the previous automations screen if you no longer need to review this template.
