Configure a workflow automation

Use the workflow configuration wizard to define when a workflow runs, customise its settings, review the configuration and enable it for your project.

This guide is designed for project manager.

Steps

Step 1: Open the workflow configuration wizard

From the relevant project, open the workflow template you want to use; the configuration wizard appears, showing the multi-step progress bar with the current step highlighted.

Step 2: Choose when the workflow should run

In the "When" step, review the available triggers and select or adjust the events that should start this workflow, then proceed to the next step.

Step 3: Customise workflow settings

In the "Customise" step, review and edit the configurable fields that were pre-filled with default values from the template, updating any options to match your project needs before continuing.

Step 4: Review your configuration

In the "Review" step, check a summary of the selected triggers and all customised settings, going back to previous steps if you need to amend anything.

Step 5: Enable the workflow

In the "Enable" step, confirm that you want to activate the workflow for your project; the system saves your configuration, enables the workflow, and shows a success state.

Step 6: Finish or cancel the wizard

After enabling, close the wizard to return to your project; you can also cancel earlier in the process to discard any unsaved changes.
