Run an agent-powered project setup task

Use the agent task modal to provide inputs, monitor progress, and review results for an automated project setup task.

Steps​

Step 1: Open the agent task execution modal​

Open the agent-powered project setup task from your project setup workflow to display the execution modal, showing an overview of the task, its description, and any estimated IU cost.

Read the task description, review any warnings or notices such as document analysis cost, and confirm you are ready to proceed with the automated task.

Step 3: Provide initial task inputs​

Fill in the required input fields in the initial form, including text, selections, document references, or other dynamic fields requested by the agent, ensuring all mandatory fields are complete.

Step 4: Adjust advanced options and labels​

Update any optional labels, scheduling preferences, or additional configuration fields exposed in the wizard-style form to fine-tune how the agent will run the task.

Step 5: Review and confirm your inputs​

Use the review step to check all entered values, verify that conditional fields are correct, and confirm that the task is set up as expected before starting execution.

Step 6: Start the agent task​

Click the button to start execution and transition from the input view to the progress view, where the agent begins running the setup steps.

Step 7: Monitor task progress​

Watch the animated step indicators and wizard progress bar as the agent moves through each phase, noting any alerts or intermediate messages displayed in the modal.

Step 8: Respond to any follow-up input requests​

If the agent pauses and requests more information, provide the additional inputs in the dynamic fields shown, then continue the task so it can proceed with the next steps.

Step 9: Opt in to completion notifications​

Choose whether to enable task completion notifications so you will be alerted when longer-running tasks finish, even if you navigate away from the current page.

Step 10: View task completion summary​

When the task completes, review the results shown in the completion view, including success indicators, any warnings, and links to generated documents or resources.

Step 11: Open detailed outputs and resources​

Use the provided links or buttons to open full output details, download files, or navigate to related areas of the application for further review or follow-up actions.

Step 12: Rerun or schedule the task if needed​

If available, use the options to rerun the task, adjust inputs, or open the schedule wizard to convert the agent task into a recurring scheduled task.

Once you have reviewed the results and completed any follow-up actions, close the modal to return to your main project setup view.
