Run an automated project setup task
Use the Agent Task Execution modal to provide inputs, monitor progress, and review results for an automated project setup task.
This guide is designed for project manager.
Steps
Step 1: Open the agent task execution modal
From your project setup area, select the automated task you want to run; the Agent Task Execution modal opens showing an overview of the task and any required inputs.

Step 2: Review task details and estimated usage
Check the task title, description, and any information about expected processing time or usage credits, including any IU or cost badges shown in the header.

Step 3: Complete the initial input form
Fill in the dynamic input fields requested by the task, such as text fields, toggles, or file-based inputs; required fields are clearly indicated and may appear or hide based on your earlier answers.

Step 4: Adjust conditional settings if needed
Update any answers that reveal or hide conditional fields so that only the options relevant to your scenario are completed before continuing.

Step 5: Review a summary of your inputs
On the review step, confirm the captured values for each field, ensuring that project details and preferences are accurate before starting the task.

Step 6: Configure scheduling (optional)
If the task can be repeated, use the Schedule Task wizard within the modal to set up a schedule, choosing how often and when the agent should rerun this task.

Step 7: Start the agent task
Select the button to run the task; the modal switches to a progress view showing animated step indicators and a wizard-style progress bar.

Step 8: Monitor task progress
Watch the live status updates as the agent processes each step, including loading indicators, intermediate messages, and any alerts if attention is required.

Step 9: Provide additional input when requested
If the agent pauses for clarification or extra details, respond in the inline input area so the task can continue processing with the information you supply.

Step 10: Opt in to completion notifications (optional)
Use the notification opt-in section to allow the system to notify you when the agent finishes, which is useful for longer-running tasks.

Step 11: Review task results
Once the task completes, review the output in the completion view, including summaries, generated documents, and any structured results displayed in the modal.

Step 12: Open generated documents or resources
Use links or buttons such as "View", "Open" or external link icons to open any generated files, plans, or pages in a new tab or download them to your device.

Step 13: Retry or adjust inputs after an error
If the task fails or completes with warnings, read the friendly error details, adjust your inputs or schedule settings, and select the retry option to run the task again.

Step 14: Close or minimise the modal
When you have finished reviewing the results, close or minimise the modal to return to your project workspace, keeping any created schedules or outputs in place.
