Manage your project setup workflow

Use the project setup workflow to follow guided onboarding steps, run automated tasks, and track overall setup progress for your current project.

Audience

This guide is designed for project manager.

Steps

Step 1: View the project setup prompt banner

Open your project dashboard to see the setup prompt banner when onboarding actions are available for the current project, including a summary of what still needs attention.

Step 2: Start a suggested setup action from the banner

Click the action button on the prompt banner to open the relevant onboarding task or navigate directly to the appropriate settings page for your project.

Step 3: Open and close the workflow overview panel

Use the workflow toggle control to open the overview panel, where you can see all setup workflows for the project, then close it again when you no longer need the detailed view.

Step 4: Review setup steps and overall progress

In the workflow overview panel, review the list of onboarding steps grouped into workflows, alongside your overall setup completion percentage and which items are still outstanding.

Step 5: Mark setup steps as complete or reopen them

From the workflow overview panel, toggle individual steps as complete when you finish them, or reopen them if you need to revisit or correct something.

Step 6: Run automated tasks in the execution modal

Start an automated setup task from the workflow overview to open the task execution modal, where you can monitor progress while the system performs the task for you.

Step 7: Minimise and restore the task execution modal

Minimise the task execution modal to keep working elsewhere in the project while the task runs in the background, then restore it to check results or take follow-up actions.

Step 8: Cancel or complete a running setup task

From the task execution modal, cancel a running task if you no longer need it, or confirm completion once the automated steps have finished successfully.

Step 9: Refresh and reset onboarding suggestions

Use the refresh option to pull the latest setup status from your project, and, if needed, reset any dismissed suggestions so that relevant prompts appear again.
