Run an agent-assisted project setup task
Use the Agent Task Execution modal to provide inputs, monitor progress, and review results for automated project setup tasks.
This guide is designed for project manager.
Steps
Step 1: Open the agent task execution modal
From your project setup area, select the relevant agent task and choose the option to run it, which opens the Agent Task Execution modal with an overview of what will be automated.

Step 2: Review task details and estimated usage
Read the task description, any warnings or notes, and check the IU cost badge to understand the expected usage before proceeding.

Step 3: Provide initial task inputs
Fill in the dynamic input fields requested by the agent, such as text, selections, or file-related details; mandatory fields must be completed before you can continue.

Step 4: Adjust advanced field labels and settings (if available)
For tasks that support custom labels or advanced options, update field labels and toggle any processing options to match how you want the agent to handle your project data.

Step 5: Start the agent task
Confirm your inputs and click the action button to launch the agent; the modal switches to a progress view with animated step indicators showing each phase of the task.

Step 6: Respond to any follow-up input requests
If the agent pauses for clarification or extra data, enter the requested information into the follow-up fields and submit so the task can continue.

Step 7: Monitor task progress
Watch the progress indicators and status messages as each step runs; the wizard bar and icons update to show which stages are pending, in progress, or complete.

Step 8: Handle errors or retry the task (if needed)
If a step fails, review the friendly error message, adjust your inputs if required, and use the retry controls in the modal to run the task again.

Step 9: Enable completion notifications
Use the notification opt-in panel to choose whether you want to be notified when the agent finishes, which is especially useful for longer-running tasks.

Step 10: Review and download task results
When the task completes, review the markdown-formatted output, open any linked documents, and download files or summaries provided by the agent.

Step 11: Schedule recurring runs of the task
If supported for this task, open the schedule wizard from the completion view to set up a recurring schedule that automatically re-runs the agent task with your chosen preferences.

Step 12: Close the modal and continue setup
When you are satisfied with the results, close the Agent Task Execution modal and continue with the rest of your project setup workflow.
