Use the onboarding walkthrough overlay

Learn how to navigate and interact with the guided walkthrough overlay that highlights key areas of the application.

Audience

This guide is designed for project manager.

Steps​

Step 1: Open the guided walkthrough​

When the walkthrough starts, an overlay appears with a highlighted area on the page and a tooltip explaining what you are looking at.

Step 2: Read the current step instructions​

Review the title, description, and any tips shown in the tooltip to understand what this step is guiding you to do.

Step 3: Navigate between steps​

Use the Next and Previous buttons, or the arrow icons, to move forwards or backwards through the walkthrough steps.

Step 4: Interact with highlighted page elements​

For steps that ask you to click or interact, select the highlighted element on the page; the overlay will respond and advance when the required action is completed.

Step 5: Use keyboard controls​

Use Tab and Shift+Tab to move between buttons in the tooltip, and the keyboard shortcuts indicated in the overlay to progress while keeping focus within the walkthrough.

Step 6: Pause or exit the walkthrough​

If you no longer want guidance, close the overlay using the X icon or provided control; you can return to normal navigation in the app at any time.
